travel the voyage of self discovery

So my life may not be your conventional 9-5 however your city shift work life is not any more exciting but you do on the whole get a lot more time off.

My parents both traveled, in fact they meet whilst traveling on a boot in Greece(how romantic)so i guess the travel bug is in my blood.By the time i had finished up with my studies and secured a job i threw my hands up in the air and decided to overland it across Africa.Okay so stage fright might have set in on the way to the airport, i think i had to fight back the tears the whole way to the airport. The opposite effect happened on the return leg i spent the whole journey wishing i didn’t have to return, i even tried to delay my flight but that was to no avail. This is the basis to why when i have time off i like to escape.

Since then i have traveled to 48 countries and the list of wants is uncontrollably growing unfortunately my bank account is not. I do not spend my whole time glued to my camera in fact i do not own any fancy equipment but i do hope that with this blog I’m able to share with you some of the amazing experiences that i have been privileged to see.

I will leave you with one of my favorite sayings has to be “He knows not where he is going , for the ocean will decide. It is not the destination but the journey of the ride.”

  1. A fancy camera does not make a photographer. An eye like yours most certainly does. There’s not an image on this page that would be made appreciably better in any measurable way with a “fancy” camera.

  4. Hey, very inspiring photographs. You say you don’t have fancy equipment; but did you take photography courses? or just learned it by yourself? Anyway, congratulations.
